
On Aug. 1, 2002, a 12-year-old Tennessee Walking Horse gelding was observed in the field for the primary complaints of pyrexia, inappetence and colic.
Dr. Lenher?s veterinary career started at Wickford Veterinary Clinic in North Kingstown, R.I., as a volunteer and later as an employee. After graduation from the University of Rhode Island in 1997, she moved to Colorado and worked at Jorgensen Laboratories, Inc. prior to being accepted to Colorado State University?s veterinary school.
