OLYMPIA, WASH. — Some Washington lawmakers want veterinarians exempted from submitting data as part of the state's prescription-monitoring program.
Under House Bill 2288, veterinarians would not be required to report prescription, dispensing or patient data for Class II, III, IV and V controlled substances through the state's prescription-monitoring program. The bill is under consideration by the state's House Health and Wellness Committee.
