Viticus Group names new director of conference operations
Sara Taylor will bring over 15 years of experience as she assumes her new role with the VIticus Group
Viticus Group announced that it has named Sara Taylor its new director of conference operations. Within her new role, Taylor will manage the operational needs related to the WVC Annual Conference. According to the organizational release,1 Taylor joined the Viticus group in 2022 and with this expanded role, she will oversee all elements of WVC such as contracting negotiations and executions, logistics management, and improving the participant experience.
“Viticus Group is extremely fortunate to have Sara Taylor in this leadership role,” said Aubrey Arreola, chief operations officer of Viticus Group, in the release.1 “Sara’s knowledge, expertise, and energy are unparalleled and will elevate our WVC Annual Conference to the next level as we head into a century of providing innovative continuing education through our legacy event.”
Before coming to the Viticus Group, Taylor was an account executive at NexxtShow Exposition Services as well as a convention services manager at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center. Within the roles, she supervised multiple high-level accounts, conventions, and tradeshows. Along with years of experience, Taylor has designations in both the Certified in Exhibition Management and Certified Meeting Professional CMP programs.
“I’m honored to be trusted with this major responsibility,” said Taylor, in the release.1 “We are preparing for our 96th WVC Annual Conference and I’m confident that our team will provide a veterinary educational experience that cannot be found anywhere else like we do it in Las Vegas.”
