Vetnique Labs celebrates 10th anniversary
Pet healthy company debuts new advisory board and sweepstakes in honor of the occasion
In honor of Vetnique Labs 10th anniversary, they have welcomed a new Vet Advisory Board consisting of 5 renowned and trusted veterinarians specializing in an array of fields. This team will educate Vetnique consumers and pet owners on best practices and pointers for optimal pet health.
What’s more, the company is launching a sweepstakes on its website where 10 winners will have the opportunity to win a 1-month supply of Vetnique products and a custom YETI bowl.
According to a company release,1 the story of Vetnique Labs began with CEO and founder James Bascharon, DVM, who always had a calling to be a veterinarian. His veterinarian father immigrated to the US from Egypt to offer a better life for his family. Thus, Bascharon spent his childhood watching and learning about pet health in his father's exam room.
"The story of Vetnique really began in my early childhood days when I realized that what I wanted most was to care for animals. Seeing the impact that my father was having on pet families and our community was inspiring. I'd often join him in the exam rooms as his assistant, admiring the effect he had on his patients and their families. I realized that was the career path and purpose I wanted to pursue," expressed Bascharon.
Bascharon followed in his father’s footsteps, and his sister and him became veterinarians, but Bascharon felt he could contribute in additional ways to help animals and their families.
"Once I was a practicing vet myself, I saw firsthand how many pet health issues could be prevented through proper nutrition and supplements. It occurred to me that I could make a meaningful impact on pet health and pet families, perhaps more so than as a vet alone," said Bascharon, in the release.1
