Veterinarians and veterinary clients are hurting in this economy

As we all wonder when the recession will end, you and your clients say you're feeling the hit.

Last year roughly one-third of veterinarians told us their practice was experiencing a slump. This year three-quarters say revenue has been hurt by the recession. Nobody hesitates to use the 'R' word now. According to financial experts we've talked to, most practices are, if not recession-proof, then recession-resistant. These practices are growing, but at a slower rate, or at least breaking even. Unfortunately, some practice owners are seeing revenue drop.
