Veritas Veterinary Partners unveils specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals


This national network aims to provide outstanding care, excellent compensation to staff, and significant support for its partner hospitals.

Veritas Veterinary Partners (Veritas) launched with a national network of over 80 specialty and emergency veterinary care providers. Its goal is to offer the best quality care to patients, exceptional benefits and compensation to its staff, and sufficient resources and infrastructure to support its partner hospitals.

According to a company release,1 Thomas D. Scavelli, DVM, Diplomate ACVS, will lead Veritas as the CEO. Scavelli founded Garden State Veterinary Specialists, a Veritas partner hospital.

"Veritas is focused on expanding high-quality veterinary care throughout the country, and our commitment to investing in and supporting doctors and staff is central to this goal," said Scavelli, in the release.1

"I am honored by the opportunity to lead Veritas and am confident in our mission to be a trusted and valued partner to our patients and for outstanding veterinary professionals across the nation,” he added.

Veritas has received support and resources from Percheron Capital, a private equity firm that prioritizes partnering with high-quality essential services businesses.1 This has allowed Veritas to make substantial investments in its growth, people, and infrastructure.
