White's fine, but consider adding a color or two to your paint scheme, recommends Wendy Wheeler, MA, the director of design at BDA Architecture in Albuquerque, N.M. "Splashes of color add interest and capture attention," she explains. "For example, using a different color at your retail center or reception desk draws clients to those areas."
