Two DVMs elected to Equine Hall of Fame

Brookfield, Wis. - The International Equine Veterinarians Hall of Fame has inductedJames Rooney, DVM, Queenstown, Md., and Richard Mansmann, DVM, Apex, N.C.

Rooney, a diplomate emeritus of the American College ofVeterinary Pathologists, has conducted research for more than 25 years at theGluck Equine Research Center at the University of Kentucky.

Mansmann, who has conducted many seminars for the North CarolinaState University's College of Veterinary Medicine, is co-author of thebook, "Equine Lameness," which investigates therapy, the disease andtreatment.
