Juan S. Orjuela, DVM: Hispanic/Latinx professionals are a growing minority in the veterinary industry. It has been estimated that there are over 20 million Latinx pet owners in the United States alone, and this number is steadily growing. So, that kind of just shows you how important it is to have this representation.
