Greg Geckles, with his 20 plus years of industry experience, will play a vital role in increasing company growth and enhancing engagement.

The Bridge Club, the first video-based community where veterinary professionals come together for only 25 minutes to engage with one another about a specific topic, has appointed Greg Geckles as its chief operating officer (COO).

“I’m excited to be a part of The Bridge Club and honored to build on its history of serving the veterinary profession and pet owners,” says Geckles, in a company release. “Our unique ability to provide the virtual networking that drives partnerships and to engage pet owners with conversational education positions us to deliver great value to our audiences, sponsors, and partners.”

Geckles, whose extensive resume includes 20 plus years of industry insider experience, began overseeing the operations of The Bridge Club and The Bridge Club Pets in January. He most recently served as the senior consultant of product development at Nationwide.

“Greg will play a critical role in our next stage of growth,” says Catherine Haskins, founder, and CEO of The Bridge Club. “Greg’s insights and ability to operationalize our community will enable us to engage more professionals in conversations that are important to propel the profession forward and to elevate the role of the entire veterinary medical team among pet owners.”

After being formerly established on Zoom, the company has since transitioned its networking conversations to Airmeet. This new platform offers a “driver’s seat” experience, granting the attendee one-on-one video conversations with colleagues at their discretion.

Haskins says the organization is set for growth in 2021 with the launch of the following new communities:

  • TBC+: The membership arm of The Bridge Club
  • Bridge Female Founders: A group dedicated to female entrepreneurs in the veterinary industry
  • TBC Students: A platform dedicated to veterinary students.
