According to Tracy Dowdy, CVPM, managing director of MRG Consulting and founder of the Relationship Centered Practice Academy, systems and standard operating procedures (SOP) are crucial to a practice’s success because they become the guide for how the business is run.
Too many times when visiting hospitals, Dowdy says she finds that no written SOP has been established. As a result, the client experience and patient care are inconsistent.
