Veterinary Products Laboratories introduces two synthetic pheromone formulas for cats and dogs. D.A.P. is a synthetic canine pheromone designed to naturally calm dogs in stressful situations related to separation anxiety and fear.Feliway is a synthetic feline facial pheromone designed to help reduce urine marking and scratching behavior in cats. The pheromones are released into the animals environment through a diffuser that plugs into an electrical outlet, the company says.
