An industry veteran, Heather Loenser, DVM, will offer deep clinical and well-being experience to Suveto in supporting veterinary practices

Suveto has announced a new strategic addition to its team, appointing Heather Loenser, DVM, as its vice president of professional development, culture, and well-being for Harbor.vet by Suveto.

A graduate of Iowa State, Loenser spent nearly 10 years as an emergency veterinarian and most recently served as the Chief Medical Officer at the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Dr Loenser has coached hundreds of veterinary team members on data-driven communication techniques. She has also educated pet owners through national television, with appearances on the Today Show, Dr. Oz, and CBS.

According to a press release from Suveto, Loenser said one her passions is “connecting the humans of animal health with one another to improve the well-being of each individual and the industry as a whole through authentic conversations and educational experiences.”

“I am overjoyed to be joining the Suveto team,” said Loenser. “Their audacious goal to change the future of veterinary medicine through ownership, growth, and well-being aligns so well with the calling I have felt for so long, that I immediately knew this was a perfect fit.”

Harbor.vet by Suveto is a member community focused on the development of veterinary professionals through experiential learning. According to the release, Loenser will focus on offering a more robust line up of programming to enhance professional skills and improve veterinary practice cultures while building a foundation of personal well-being that spans the entire “life cycle” of a veterinarian—from student to seasoned practice owner.
