RxWorks announces support for Short Message Service (SMS) messaging into its RxWorks practice management software.

The enhancement links RxWorks software to Web-based SMS providers, allowing veterinary practices to quickly send short text messages to mobile phones. SMS messages can be used to speed practice-to-client communication and bolster the quality of client service. An SMS message can remind a client of a scheduled appointment, advise if a prescription is ready for pick up or provide an update on a pet's health status.
