Follow these "next steps" to make sure your veterinary team is prepared to promote senior pet wellness.

Typically, once pets reach the age of seven, they’re considered seniors. But since your clients probably still consider their pets youngsters, it’s up to you to guide them toward appropriate diagnostics and lifestyle changes necessary to make their pet’s senior years golden. Use these next steps.

1. Prep your staff. Gather your group to get everyone engaged and ready to promote senior wellness. Use our team meeting guide and step-by-step marketing plan to develop a plan.

2. Gather information. Your appointment schedule is probably tight—so to make sure you get the information you need about a senior pet, have clients complete the behavior screen questionnaire.
