Merck, DVMThis lecture will teach veterinarians and staff the importance of knowing the laws in their respective locations including criminal cruelty laws, the veterinary practice act, any mandated reporting, and any confidentiality and immunity laws. They will learn how to develop a Standard Operating Procedure for their hospital. The importance of client interaction in suspected abuse cases will be discussed with examples of scenarios they will likely encounter being presented.This the second session of a three-part series. Attending all three sessions is not required but, for your convenience, you only need to register once.
