Nestle Purina PetCare is sharing the results of a canine life span study on a poster you can get free of charge. The study found that dogs fed to their ideal body condition lived 15 percent longer than other dogs. The poster shows three sets of pictures of two dogs born in 1987—Thelma and Bess. In the last set, Bess, the control group dog, is missing. "When clients see that the control group dog died earlier, it makes an impact," says a Nestle Purina spokeswoman.
