Help clients understand the need for preventive pet dental care with this easy tip.

To help clients fully appreciate the benefits of dental prophylaxis, take before-and-after digital photographs. When a client comes in to pick up a pet, he or she meets with the technician who performed the prophylaxis to discuss the procedure, the results of the blood work, and preventive care. The client receives a photo of the pet’s clean teeth and the opportunity to compare it to the before photo.

Or, go one step further—build clients a folder showing photos and radiographs of their pets’ mouths to communicate the value of the services you provided.
