Offering private rooms for pet owners
The Center for Specialized Veterinary Care, a new hospital in Long Island, N.Y., is the first to offer pet owners private rooms so they can stay with their hospitalized pets 24 hours a day.

The Center for Specialized Veterinary Care, a new hospital in Long Island, N.Y., is the first to offer pet owners private rooms so they can stay with their hospitalized pets 24 hours a day. Accommodations in the hospital?s Compassionate Care Center include loveseats and recliners, workstations, sinks, cable modem hookups, stereos, phones, and a private nurse. The referral practice treats small animals and exotics and offers physical therapy, dentistry, radioiodine therapy, acupuncture, an on-site lab, and more.
