North Carolina VMA releases podcast on rabies awareness

Raleigh, N.C. -- The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (NCVMA) has released a podcast discussing rabies awareness and prevention. The podcast features Dr. Jim Dobies, president-elect of the NCVMA's board of directors, who discusses the spread and treatment of rabies, as well as protective measures for both humans and animals.

The podcast features Dr. Jim Dobies, president-elect of the NCVMA's board of directors, who discusses the spread and treatment of rabies, as well as protective measures for both humans and animals.

"Rabies is a deadly but preventable disease that is common in North Carolina," says Claire Holley, executive director of the NCVMA. "We hope to educate listeners and help the public learn about the best ways to protect their pets and themselves from the disease."
