Lunch with an inspiring veterinary legend

In a dvm360® interview, San Diego Fetch faculty member, Dr Mark Goldstein previews the uplifting messages he will share during "Lunch with a Legend" at this year's conference

On the first day of the conference, "Lunch with a Legend: I Wouldn't Change a Thing" will be led by San Diego Fetch faculty member Mark Goldstein, DVM, CEO and founder of MGold Consulting, and book author in San Diego, California.

In this dvm360® interview, Goldstein describes what he will highlight during this Lunch & Learn including his valiant fight against pancreatic cancer and how humor has helped him face life's challenges. Additionally, he will emphasize the integral role veterinary professionals play in the community.

The following is a partial transcript of the video.

Mark Goldstein, DVM: In short, what I said last year, I have [the] 3 same goals this year, and I hope to build on them. [No.]1 is have you all fed, because it is lunch...The other is to basically make people laugh. Because I have found even in spite of the challenges I'm facing right now in my life, laughter helps a lot. And last and most importantly, I hope people coming to this lecture...when you leave the room, you pat yourself on the back.

There's still time to register for our San Diego Fetch dvm360® conference taking place December 2-4, 2022 here. Goldstein will also be signing his book Lions and Tigers and Hamsters: What Animals Large and Small Taught Me About Life, Love, and Humanity while there so be sure to bring your copy with you!
