The liquid makes treating the disease convenient by oral administration or mixing with food.
The oral dosing syringe is calibrated in .01 ml increments and allows to closely match each patient's needs, the company says.
"When it comes to methods of administering medication, dog owners are looking to their veterinarians for a full range of choices," says Michael Coyne, VMD, PhD, market development manager for Intervet.
The majority of dog owners say they prefer giving pets a once-a-day oral solution, the company adds.
