Securos introduces its Prosthetic Laryngoplasty (tie back) System, which simplifies abduction of the arytenoids cartilage by using a locking surgical instrument to abduct the cartilage and hold it in place, allowing the surgeon to observe the amount of abduction.

Securos introduces its Prosthetic Laryngoplasty (tie back) System, which simplifies abduction of the arytenoids cartilage by using a locking surgical instrument to abduct the cartilage and hold it in place, allowing the surgeon to observe the amount of abduction. Once proper abduction is achieved, a precise crimping tool is used to crimp a surgical clamp (instead of tying a knot) to secure the monofilament suture.
