Is Your Veterinary Practice Missing Charges?

Joy Fuhrman, DVM, MBA, director of finance and operations for Shepherd Software, talks about how missed charges are a huge issue for veterinary practices.

The average missed charges per doctor per year is about $64,000, Dr. Fuhrman says, and about 10 percent of charges are missed on average. She says using specific software or training your staff about how to ensure charges are not slipping through the cracks is important to drive revenue and grow your veterinary practice.
