We had space problems in our laboratory refrigerator because the bulky packages that contain diagnostic tests don't leave room for other medicines and vaccines. Rafael Vazquez, one of our technicians, suggested we use the clear plastic cases that the Vet/IV infusion pumps (Heska) arrive in to store small items in the fridge. Now we place all the Snap tests (Idexx Laboratories) in these cases. We can easily see what we have in stock, and the refrigerator doesn't look messy.
