Idea Exchange: Odorless expression

We squirt ear cleanser onto the cotton that we hold in our hand during anal sac expression. The anal sac contents are expressed onto this soaked cotton, which greatly reduces the odor. We then use a little more cleanser and cotton to wipe the anus clean. The room stays odor-free, and the patient goes home smelling clean.
