Idea Exchange: Make your microscope a smooth operator

Set your microscope on top of an old mouse pad and then set both the microscope and mouse pad on top of half of a manila file folder. The folder allows the microscope to slide easily on the counter, and the mouse pad reduces vibration in the viewing field.
