Idea Exchange: Eliminate mess with smaller medicine containers

In our practice, we find it practical to dispense some liquid medications, such as dewormers, into smaller, more manageable containers. We trim the applicator tips of 30- and 50-oz liquid containers to fit a Luer-Lok syringe, and then use this syringe to draw up the dose. This technique nearly eliminates waste and mess.
