We use colored zip strips, usually used for securing wire or cabling, to mark our cold-tray instruments.

We use colored zip strips, usually used for securing wire or cabling, to mark our cold-tray instruments. We secure a zip strip to each instrument's handle and snip off the excess. This way we keep our instruments in the correct trays at all times. We have not had any zip strips fade or fall off.
