The practice is now welcoming new patients and offering free first exams

GoodVets, a national veterinarian partner-led animal hospital platform, has with the opening of its new South Tampa practice in Florida. After completing construction this month, GoodVets South Tampa is now open and welcoming new patients with free first exams.1

GoodVets aims to elevate veterinary care for pets and pet parents by coventuring with entrepreneurial veterinarians. In partnership with local veterinarian, Andrea Caspary, DVM, the company recognized the need for a quality general and urgent pet care center in downtown Tampa’s bustling community.1

Located at 1155 South Dale Mabry Highway, Suite 1 and 2, the new hospital is accessible to pets in the major Tampa Bay metro area and offers individualized care for each pet including wellness and prevention services, diagnostics, routine and advanced surgery, and urgent care. Building friendly, comfortable environments in beautiful spaces with state-of-the-art technologies is a key focus of GoodVets’ approach to providing pets and their owners with the best care possible, according to the company. To ensure clients have convenient access to their services, GoodVets also offers online booking.1

Situated in the heart of the South Tampa neighborhood, GoodVets South Tampa occupies 3266 sq ft featuring 5 exam rooms including a feline-only space. This hospital has been custom designed to reflect the broader South Tampa community. It also takes advantage of high-power exhaust fans, ergonomic décor, and specially insulated wall materials to create a smell-free, comfortable, and tranquil environment for pets and their owners.1

According to GoodVets, Caspary brings a uniquely compassionate and empathetic approach to each patient she takes care of and always works to ensure her pets and pet parents receive best-in-class, high-quality care. As the owner of GoodVets South Tampa with a long history of practicing medicine in Tampa and a deep-rooted love for the community, Caspary's growing team of veterinary professionals brings an exceptional level of care to their work.1

GoodVets offers veterinarians the opportunity to partner with the company to own their hospital and connect with clients on a local level through the support of a national network. All partners have the autonomy to grow and lead their own practice. GoodVets believes local veterinarian ownership leads to improved experiences for pets, pet owners, and hospital teams.1

The opening of GoodVets’ Tampa location marks their 16th location and ninth market to date in the United States, with additional locations in Miami and Palm Beach County, Florida; as well as Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Illinois.1 Among its locations is the first Black-owned GoodVets hospital, which was opened earlier this year by owner and medical director Charles McMillan, DVM, a dvm360® editorial advisory board member.2

McMillan’s GoodVets hospital serves the West Buckhead community in greater Atlanta, Georgia, and his plans include 2 additional GoodVets hospitals in the region. GoodVets West Buckhead offers wellness and prevention services, diagnostics, routine and advanced surgery, virtual care, and urgent care.2
