General veterinary practitioners can implement this new spin on a proven cancer treatment approach.

Metronomic chemotherapycontinuous, low-dose oral chemotherapy given at regular intervalsis a variation on administration of standard chemotherapy medication. Veterinary oncologist Dr. Sue Ettinger says it's useful in cases of incompletely resected soft tissue sarcomas and advanced metastatic disease, among others. Listen as she explains.
