BGE introduces Equibios, a probiotic yeast blend to help maintain normal gastrointestinal function in the horse.

The product contains Sacchromyces boulardii and phosphorylated mannanoligosaccharides.

S. boulardii is a live yeast that binds the surface of pathogens such as clostridium and Salomonella, inhibits Clostridial toxins and stimulates the immune system. Phosphorylated mannanoligosaccharides are yeast-wall extracts that bind the surface of Salmonella.
