TALLAHASSEE, FLA. — Florida lawmakers are considering a new bill that would require all healthcare professionals—including veterinarians—to wear name badges clearly displaying their credentials when rendering services.
The badges would have to include a practitioner's name and licensure credentials and be worn at all times while on duty, according to House Bill 1267. The bill was introduced Jan. 10 and referred to various committees for consideration on Jan. 12.
