Renee McDougall, DVM, MPH, DACVS, specialty surgeon at Bond Vet, is surrounded by a variety of empowering women. From her mother who is a pediatrician to fellow surgeons to others not in medicine, she highlights these ladies in this dvm360® interview.

The following is a partial transcript of the video.

Renee McDougall, DVM, MPH, DACVS: I also think the other female surgeons that I've been surrounded by have been a huge source of inspiration, just watching them create space for other women, and also basically just be an example [by] demonstrat[ing] how it can be done, to be powerful, and be a surgeon, which, of course we're in the great minority.
