Lincomix is the only FDA-approved product that controlsileitis and reduces the severity of mycoplasmal pneumonia. Ileitis, whichcauses intestinal lesions, is a serious disease that drains profits dueto extra feed costs and space required to house unproductive animals. Inaddition to being costly, ileitis can spread through a herd if left undetected,the company says.
