After the very successful last Eurasia Veterinary Conferences in Bangkok, Bali, Langkawi, Phuket, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Singapore we are going 2015 to Borneo, more specifically to the malaysian portion of Borneo, Sabah. The conference Hotel will be the Shangri La's Rasa Ria in Kota Kinabalu! Borneo can be easily reached via short flights for Singapore or Kuala Lumpur.
The Eurasia Veterinary Conference not only offers a high class program, we also try to pick great places for the conference. Borneo is a dream destination for nature lovers: visit spectacular nature reserves in the tropical rainforest (like the Tabin Wildlife Reserve) or on the marine coast (Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine National Park). The primary rain forest is home to many endemic animals and plants, and nowhere else in the world a larger variety of orchids can be found. For hikers and climbers the Kinabalu National Park with the majestic Mount Kinabalu (4095 m /13.000 feet) is an exciting destination (UNESCO world heritage site since 2000). Enjoy the cultural variety and culinary delights, which are outstanding features of the hospitable people of Borneo.
The conference will take place at the exclusive Shangri La‘s Rasa Ria Resort in Kota Kinabalu (Malayan part of Borneo, state of Sabah). This marvelous Resort is situated at the secluded Pantai Dalit Beach, surrounded by tropical rainforest. Three pools, an 18-hole golf course and treatments in the magnificent ‘Chi-SPA' add to an amazing stay. Unique to the Rasa Ria resort is the Orangutan Education Centre, situated in a 64 acre Nature Reserve. Hotel guests get the opportunity to watch the Orang Utans in this rehabilitation center and learn more about this fascinating and endangered species. Many more activities in the Nature Reserve, like bird watching, botanical tours and nocturnal animal watch are offered on a daily basis.
Main congress program: There will be HOT TOPIC sessions (2 - 4 hours each), in which our specialists will cover the most recent information in their specific area - a summary of the latest developments, presented at international conferences or from new articles. The lecturers will pick the most important topics from their area - that are useful for private practice! Optional Workshops are offered in the afternoon covering various topics!
