The use of Laser has become a versatile mainstay of Equine Surgery and is nowadays employed as part of minimally-invasive upper airway surgery, to arthrodese joints, treat urogenital conditions and in general to deal with skin tumors. This 2-day practical course has been developed to provide equine surgeons with the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills of performing all aspects of laser surgery under the supervision of some of the most experienced equine surgeons in the field of laser surgery. Dr. Norm Ducharme (Cornell University, USA), Dr. Brett Woodie (Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital, USA) and Dr. Tim Lynch (Peterson & Smith, Ocala) bring a wealth of experience to this course and will train the delegates in small groups.
