Eli Lilly and Co. celebrated its first veterinary anniversary at NAVC, where it launched its companion animal brand last year. The company noted the anniversary with its second annual lectureship presented with the Center for the Human-Animal Bond at the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. In the past year, Lilly launched Reconcile, the first FDA-approved SSRI for the treatment of canine separation anxiety, and Comfortis, the first FDA-approved, chewable, beef-flavored monthly tablet that kills fleas and prevents flea infestations.
