Elanco makes offer on Janssen Animal Health
Indianapolis - Elano, the animal-health division of Eli Lilly and Co., has made an upspecified offer to acquire the animal-health portfolio owned by Janssen Pharmaceutica, a Johnson & Johnson company.

INDIANAPOLIS — Elanco, the animal-health division of Eli Lilly and Co., has made an unspecified offer to acquire the animal-health portfolio owned by Janssen Pharmaceutica, a Johnson & Johnson company.

The deal would give Elanco approximately 50 new animal-health products and move Janssen employees to Elanco. No manufacturing facilities would be affected by the acquisition, Elanco officials report.
