The veterinary clinic group will open 2 new franchise clinics within PetSmart stores in Florida.
Easyvet, a US-based, walk-in veterinary clinic group, announced it will expand to the Florida market by opening clinics within PetSmart stores in Naples and Estero.
"We are excited to continue our growth and open these 2 new locations inside the PetSmart stores," said Tim Schoenfelder, easyvet CEO, in an organizational release. "The new clinics will allow us to continue focusing on our company's mission in providing convenient care. Our walk-in model will allow pet parents to schedule a same-day appointment and speak to a veterinary professional while doing their regular shopping at PetSmart."
These new locations will offer the same services as all other easyvet clinics such as wellness exams, microchipping, core vaccinations, parasite screening, and more. According to the release, these 2 new locations will also include basic surgeries, such as spay and neuters and dental work. Easyvet says it uses research to compare pricing in the surrounding areas of their clinics to ensure clients receive affordable rates.
"Making convenient and affordable pet care more accessible is critical to supporting the health and wellness of pets and their families," said John Bork, senior vice president of vet health services. "We're committed to doing Anything for Pets and those who love them by expanding our in-store PetSmart offerings and services that meet the needs of all pet parents."
Although no official dates were disclosed for the new clinics to open, the release reported they would open sometime in early 2022.
