The way to a pooch's heart is though its belly. Though many dogs don't like to have their paws touched-let alone have their nails trimmed-you can still get the job done with the right approach. In this video CVC educator Mikkel Becker, CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA, CDBC, CTC, KPA Graduate, demonstrates a technique of first touching a dog's leg, then introducing the nail trimmer, all while passing treats.
