The bonding rate of your practice is what Mark Opperman, CVPM, thinks is the most important indicator of the success of your practice. What is this number? It's the return rate of veterinary clients to your clinic within 18 months of when you last saw them. The industry average is 60 percent, says Opperman, which is very low. He'd like to see it at 80 to 90 percent. One way to raise this number? Think about your client experience and what you could do to improve this.
