CoActiv introduces Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (Pacs4Vets). The product is designed to meet the specific requirements of the veterinary profession.

The digital imaging solution acquires images rendered during a CT, MRI or ultrasound and displays them on a computer screen. The picture can be enhanced for improved diagnosis by zooming, adjusting the contrast, annotating and marking and measuring regions of interest, the company says.

Exams can be stored and saved online indefinitely or saved to a compact disc, eliminating the need for film-based exams, the company adds.
