Decorate your veterinary practice with local art

Stop stressing about what to put on your clinic walls-let local artists showcase their work.

Choosing the right décor for your veterinary hospital's reception area can present a challenge. Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colo., found a great solution for decorating that also showcases the talents of local artists. In April the practice began featuring art exhibits in the reception area on a rotating schedule. The first exhibit includes 22 photos of animals by two local artists. The display will remain in place for three months and then be replaced with a new exhibit. "This program is a win-win," says Nadja Torling, WRAH's practice manager for client relations. "We provide artists with a venue to show their work, and in return our clients and staff enjoy great art. We've already had great interest in the program and look forward to a variety of exhibits."
