Securos announces the release of its new line of casting and splinting products OrthoCast and OrthoSplint.
OrthoCast Plus, a fiberglass material, is strong, rigid and durable. OrthoCast Plus has superior lamination, excellent conformability, improved finish for smoother, softer edges, less dust, excellent X-ray radiolucency and easily removed, the company says.
OrthoSplint is made from nine layers of fiberglass, impregnated with polyurethane resin.
OrthoSplint is covered by air and moisture-permeable non-woven fabric, which serves as padding. OrthoCast Plus and OrthoSplint are sold in multiple sizes.
