A possible option. While an ultrasonographic examination would be a consideration, Coco doesn't have clinical signs that suggest a complicating factor leading to a UTI. She has no stranguria, crystalluria, or hematuria that would indicate a problem such as a bladder stone or polypoid cystitis. It is possible that the resistant infection is related to her previous antibiotic therapy. If Coco's clinical signs change or you have difficulty clearing this infection, then abdominal imaging would be indicated.
