Correct! Despite the mild increase in her renal values, Miss Kitty clinically still seems to be feeling well so it is better to keep her thyroid regulated at this dose than risk the deleterious effects of a chronic hyperthyroid state. We still need to monitor her carefully, though, and may also recommend starting a phosphate binder and eventual calcitriol treatment.
