Try again. Since Miss Kitty is doing so well clinically and her thyroid status is controlled, there is no reason to discontinue her methimazole. We have likely decreased her GFR by treating her hyperthyroidism, and this has worsened her renal parameters a bit, but she is handling the changes well so far.
