Possibly, but try again. Obtaining cellular samples from the airways via another method would be a consideration. It would be worth screening for toxoplasmosis (e.g. IgM and IgG serology) and fungal disease (e.g.Histoplasma capsulatum serum antigen testing) before the wash.
