The Companion Animal Parasite Council (CAPC) took its roadshow into Chicago in late July. Drs. Michael Paul (center), Susan Little (left) and Sheldon Rubin (seated, right) joined Steve Dale for a two-hour live WGN radio show. CAPCâÂÂs RV has been touring the country to educate pet owners about emerging vector-borne disease, zoonotic potential and parasite control for dogs and cats. The tour lasted until Aug. 7. June 25th 2024Cathy King, DVM, PhD, MS, the founder and CEO of World Vets; and Joni Scheftel, DVM, MPH, DACVPM, retired state public health veterinarian with the Minnesota Department of Health, were presented with trophies during the 2024 AVMA Convention event.
